What loads from third parties
The website shows no advertising and has no social media pixels. The only thing that loads from a third party is Google Analytics, and only if you accept it.
The first time you open the website, a window asks whether you accept statistics cookies. The Accept and Reject buttons carry equal weight and nothing is preselected. Until you answer, and if you decline, no request is sent to Google.
The map on the Batsi and contact pages is an image from OpenStreetMap, stored on our own server, and needs no consent. The directions button opens Google Maps in a new tab only if you press it, and from there Google's terms apply.
The live camera does not load inside the page: it opens with a button, in a new tab, on its provider's page, where the provider's own terms apply.

Your answer is not stored in a cookie: it stays in your browser's local storage, does not travel over the internet and nobody else sees it. The availability request form works without cookies.
Statistics and search tools
With your consent we use Google Analytics 4 by Google to see, in aggregate, how many people visit the website, which pages they read, which country and approximate city they are in, what device they use and where they came from. We also count how many availability requests are sent and how many people tap our phone number or email. Google Analytics 4 does not store your IP address. We do not switch on advertising features or Google signals, and we do not link the statistics to the request you send us. The data is kept for 14 months and then deleted automatically. We also use Google Search Console, Google's tool for website owners. It shows us in aggregate which searches the website appears for in the results. It places no cookies on your device and does not show us who you are: verification is done with a tag in the page code.
How to control cookies
You can change your answer whenever you like: at the bottom of every page there is a Cookie settings link that brings the window back. If you decline after having accepted, Google Analytics stops and its cookies are deleted from your device.
Every browser also lets you view, block and delete cookies in its settings. Doing so does not affect any part of the website, including the form.
Data and changes
The details you enter in the form have nothing to do with cookies: we receive them by email, keep them for twelve months and handle them as described in the Privacy Policy.
